NYIT Care-A-Van comes to BIC Elementary!

The City of Leachville has been recognized as one of the first seven founding communities to be included in the New York Institute of Technology, College of Osteopathic Medicine's Delta-Care-A-Van. Because the Mississippi Delta region is one of the most medically under-served areas in the county, the mobile medical unit, Delta-Care-A-Van,will bring health-based education and free health screenings to our school campus monthly. During recent Parent-Teacher conferences at BIC Elementary School, free blood pressure and blood sugar checks were offered.
